The Municipal Corporation vacated land worth Rs 38 crores.
The campaign of the Municipal Corporation against illegal encroachment is going on. Land worth Rs. 38 crores was vacated. On the orders of Additional Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Srivastava, JCB was used in Amaraigaon, Madharmau and Jehta.

The officer in charge of property informed that the pond is recorded in the revenue records of Gata number 351 of Amarigaon, area 3.056 hectares. This land was measured jointly with the revenue staff and the illegal construction on the pond was demolished and removed. A suit was filed under the PP Act against the permanent construction. The market value of the land freed from illegal occupation will be more than Rs 20 crore.
Similarly, in village Madharmau, Gata number-91 having area 0.535 hectare, Gata number-68 having area 0.051 hectare, Gata number-143 having area 0.837 hectare as pond in the revenue records and Gata number-217 having area 0.266 hectare as barren land in the revenue records were measured jointly with the revenue staff and the illegal construction on the pond was demolished and removed. A suit was filed against the permanent construction under the PP Act.
Land worth Rs 17 crore was vacated
The market value of the land freed from illegal occupation is more than 17 crore thirty six lakh sixty thousand rupees. Similarly, Khasra number 1892, 1894 of village Jehta which is registered in Pami and Nai Pariti account respectively, is the property vested in the Municipal Corporation. This action was taken on the instructions of Additional Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Srivastava.
