UPSC exam is being held in two shifts, UPSC Prelims Paper-1 was held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. UPSC Prelims Paper-II will be held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates had to present the print out of the e-admit card at the examination center along with the identity card.
Candidates were not allowed to carry any valuables, precious items, mobile phones, smart or digital watches, IT gadgets, books, bags etc. in the examination hall. Candidates were instructed to bring a black ball point pen. This exam is being conducted for recruitment to 1,056 posts of Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service and other allied services including Indian Forest Service.
Police force was also deployed at the examination centre.
