When CO Alok Singh investigated the whole case, it was revealed that Puranpur police station constable Ramu was carrying out these incidents along with his associates Sarfaraz and Kallu. After this, a case was registered against the accused and the accused constable and his associate Sarfaraz were arrested. After suspending Ramu, both the accused were sent to jail. The police had to face a lot of embarrassment in this case. The matter had become a topic of discussion even in Lucknow.
