When some women came to know that there was no lady doctor sitting there today, they returned back. The situation in government hospitals is very bad right now. Only one doctor is posted in the SNCU ward of the district women’s hospital as compared to four. Only two women doctors are posted in the district hospital as compared to 6. There is also no pathologist doctor in the women’s hospital. Both the women doctors posted in the hospital were on duty yesterday, so they did not come to the OPD today. In such a situation, the paramedical staff only treated the women who came for treatment in the OPD.

Some women did not know that there is no doctor here. When some women came to know that there is no doctor here, they returned. A woman Munni Devi said that she has come here to get her daughter-in-law examined. But her number has not come yet. This Kanya Mela also said that the exercise is available for 1 hour. But her number for treatment has not come yet.
Charge taken away from CMS, went on leave
Here, the government has taken back the charge from CMS Dr Pushpalata of the District Women’s Hospital and in her place has given the charge of the Women’s Hospital to the Chief Medical Superintendent of the District Hospital, Dr Surya Prakash. After the charge was taken off, Dr Pushpalata has gone on a long leave.
