Two brothers exchanged gunfire over a land dispute in Thana Tanda of Rampur. The dispute between the two families is over trees. Two women from both sides were injured in the firing, who have been sent to hospital by the police. Mehboob Bhura in village Chak Khardia of Thana Tanda

Four years ago Mehboob alias Bhura had bought a piece of land. There were trees planted on it and he wanted to take possession of it, due to which a dispute started. Last month Bhura’s family was watering their field. The other party wanted to cut the trees. Bhura’s wife opposed it. There is an allegation that Bhura’s wife was shot and the bullet hit her leg. A month ago, a compromise was reached in this case.

People from both the families clashed. They even attacked the women.

Today Bhura’s son was going to his farm in Chak Khardia. Farooq from the other party was standing there. A dispute broke out. After the abuses, weapons were brought out. When the mother came to rescue her, bullets started firing from the gun, in which Bhura’s wife Naseem Jahan got shot.

He is also accused of shooting himself to settle the case

It is also alleged that Maqbool shot and injured his granddaughter to settle his case. In this entire incident, a girl and a woman were injured by the bullets. Currently, Tanda police has started investigating the entire case. Police has taken the accused from both the sides into custody and kept them in the police station. The action is ongoing
