CBI has been continuously interrogating the principal of Oasis School since June 26.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan told ANI on June 29 that Congress does not want a discussion on the NEET issue, it only wants to spread chaos and confusion. He said, ‘On behalf of the government, I clearly said that we are ready for any kind of discussion, but Congress does not want to talk about the students’ issue. They want the issue to keep burning.
He further said, ‘Such issues have come up even before 2014, but I cannot justify it. NTA has got new leadership, reforms have been started in NTA under the leadership of former ISRO chairman K Radhakrishnan. We have made a new law to solve this issue and the entire matter has been handed over to the CBI.
Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also said that new dates for NEET PG exam will be released by Monday, Tuesday.
Congress leader Shakti Singh said- BJP has a hand in setting up exam centres in Gujarat
Congress leader Shakti Singh Gohil held a press conference on NEET issue on 29th June at AICC headquarters in Delhi. He said that there has been a setting at exam centres in NEET exam. BJP leaders are also involved in this.
He said that Jai Jalaram School of Gujarat had donated to BJP. Some candidates were asked to choose Jai Jalaram School as their exam centre. Blank cheques and cash were taken from the parents. Smriti Irani also attended the programme of this school.
Shakti Singh Gohil said that children from other states have also chosen Jai Jalaram School of Gujarat as their examination centre.
CBI conducted raids in 4 districts of Gujarat
In the NEET paper leak case, the CBI today on Saturday raided 7 places in 4 districts of Gujarat. According to news agency ANI, these raids are going on in Anand, Kheda, Ahmedabad and Godhra districts.
On June 28, CBI arrested Oasis School Principal Ehsan Ul Haq, Vice Principal Imtiyaz and journalist Jamaluddin from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. The agency suspects that they have leaked the NEET and UGC-NET papers. The team has interrogated the three for a long time, now they will be taken to the spots to confirm the evidence, after which all three will be taken to Patna.
CBI has so far arrested five people in this case. Among them, 3 are from Jharkhand and 2 from Bihar.
CBI was interrogating the principal of Oasis School, Hazaribagh for 3 days.
UGC-NET paper leak is also suspected to be from Oasis School
The UGC-NET exam was also held at Oasis School. The investigating agency has seized a mobile and laptop of the school’s vice principal Imtiaz Alam on suspicion of UGC-NET paper leak. Alam was the centre superintendent of the exam.

According to CBI and police sources, on May 3, instead of taking the NEET question paper from Hazaribagh Nutan Nagar center of courier agency Blue Dart to the bank, it was first brought to Oasis School. After this, it was sent to the bank from here. It is suspected that the packet of question paper was opened in the school itself. Oasis School was also a center for UGC NET exam. NTA announced new dates for UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, NCET
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced new dates for UGC-NET, CSIR-NET and NCET exams on Friday (28 June) night. These exams will be held between July 10 and September 4. These three exams were earlier scheduled to be held in June, which were cancelled due to various reasons.

Students made 2 big complaints regarding NEET exam
- First complaint: Grace marks were given to many students in the exam due to which 67 students became toppers with AIR 1.
- Second complaint: With the allegation of paper leak, there was a demand to cancel the paper and conduct a re-examination.
Till now, petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court regarding two irregularities in the NEET UG exam. Petitions were also filed in 7 High Courts of the country. However, on June 20, the Supreme Court clubbed the petitions filed in the NEET case in Rajasthan, Bombay and Calcutta High Courts. Now all these cases will be heard in the Supreme Court on July 8.
After protests across the country, NTA held a press conference on June 8 and conducted a re-examination for 1563 candidates on June 23. A high-level committee was formed to monitor NTA. The central government has handed over the investigation of the paper leak to the CBI.

On June 13, NTA had told the Supreme Court that the marks of 1563 candidates who have been given grace marks in the result will be cancelled and they will be given the option of re-examination. The special thing is that NTA did not give any evidence to the court as to why only 1563 candidates have been given grace marks. The question still remains as to how NTA selected 1563 candidates to give grace marks.
