The central government had established Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra in hospitals so that patients can get medicines at a low cost, but the operators of medical stores are doing a lot of malpractice here. There should be at least 600 medicines
600 to 1200 medicines should be available in these centres, but only 55 types of medicines are available in the Jan Aushadhi Kendra established in Hallet Hospital and even the bills are not being given to the patients and their attendants on sale of medicines.
First surveillance was done and then raid was conducted.
Every day 2 to 3 thousand patients visit the OPD of Hallet Hospital for treatment. If any medicine is not available in the hospital, then the patient can get the medicine at a lower rate, for this the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra has been established at the OPD gate itself, but at present there is a shortage there too.
Complaints have been received many times
Jan Aushadhi Kendra has been running for the last several months. Dr. RK Singh has received several complaints regarding this. The special thing is that the medicines being sold from this center are not even being billed to any customer. Therefore, they are selling a lot of medicines by charging arbitrarily high prices.

Dr. RK Singh first stood nearby and kept watching the customers coming out of the centre after taking medicines to see if bills were being given or not. After that he inquired from the employees present in the centre. It was found that there is no facility for billing in the centre. Neither a computer system nor a printer machine is installed. Nor was there any list of medicines displayed.
