The atmosphere of the wedding of a family of a border village in Koirauna police station area of Bhadohi got spoiled when the jaimala ceremony was being completed. Suddenly a young man climbed on the stage and put sindoor in the bride’s maang. This angered the baraatis. Due to which the groom was killed without marriage.

According to the information received, the marriage procession came from the house of Nilesh Bind, resident of Mugra Badshahpur Ramchowki in Jaunpur district, to a village bordering Koirauna police station area. The marriage procession arrived at the bride’s house late at night with great pomp and show. The people from the bride’s side were busy welcoming the wedding party. The Dwar Char ceremony was completed peacefully. During the Jaimala ceremony, the program of blessings by the people from the bride and groom’s side was going on late at night. Meanwhile, the brother-in-law of the bride’s brother, a resident of Mirzapur, climbed on the stage and filled the parting of the hair with vermilion. Seeing this happen, everyone sitting in the mandap was astonished.

The people of the girl’s side beat up the mischievous boy and chased him away. On the other hand, the people of the groom’s side got angry after seeing this scene. Even after a lot of persuasion, they did not agree to the marriage under any circumstances. After which the wedding procession returned empty-handed. The people around said that the police also reached from the concerned police station area. But the police returned after the family pleaded for respect.
