UP STF arrested fraudster Gyanesh who doubled his earnings by opening fake companies in several states including UP, MP, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Bihar. STF arrested him from Nagpur, Maharashtra on Wednesday in a case registered in Bareilly and presented him in the local court.

Crores of rupees were defrauded in the name of investment in a real estate company
According to the STF, Gyanesh Pathak, a resident of Ghurpur Tatarganj in Prayagraj, was arrested on Wednesday near the Sai Temple located in Sudhakar Chopde Indraprastha Nagar in Nagpur.
Gyanesh has duped people of about 100 crores by opening a real estate company. He used to lure people by promising to double their money in two to three years if they invest in real estate.
During interrogation, he told that in 2012, he along with his eight friends opened a company named JKV Multistate Credit Cooperative Society Limited and JKV Real Estate Developer Limited.
He established his office in Lucknow and spread his operations in many districts. His associates used to collect money from the general public by promising to double their money.
The society had more than a hundred branches not only in Uttar Pradesh but also in states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar etc.
When the company collected around 100 crore rupees, they locked the office and ran away. Since then they have been living in different places.
