Two people died in the accident.

Late Thursday evening, a truck rammed a bike from behind at Betana Bangaria crossing on NH 44 in Lalitpur, killing two youths including the bike driver. Family members said that both of them were returning home from Galla Mandi Lalitpur. Police have sent the bodies to the post

Rahul Pandey (35) son of Ramkinkar Pandey, a resident of village Bagouni under Narahat police station, had come to Lalitpur Mandi with Ramcharan Ahirwar (35) son of Ghulli, a resident of the same village. Both of them were returning home on a bike around 7:30 pm on Thursday evening. They had reached near village Bangaria Betana on NH-44 when an unknown truck coming from behind crushed them.

Police sent both the bodies for postmortem
Both of them died due to this. On getting information about the incident, both were taken to the district hospital by highway ambulance, where doctors declared them dead. Rahul’s brother told that Rahul was the eldest of four brothers and he has two sons and three daughters. He used to do farming. On the other hand, deceased Ramcharan’s brother told that Ramcharan was the eldest of five brothers. He has one son and one daughter. CO Sadar Abhay Narayan Rai told that two youths have died in the accident on the highway. Both the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
