In Ghaziabad, a man, upset with his family, jumped into the Hindon river to commit suicide. People were making noise. Some were making videos on their mobile phones. Meanwhile, a Marine Commando of the Navy arrived like an angel, jumped into the river and rescued the drowning man.

This entire incident is said to have happened on 15th July. According to eyewitnesses, a young man was drowning in the Hindon river. His father was also present there. He shouted. People gathered around. Some started arranging ropes, some tried to save him in some other way. But no one was able to muster the courage to jump into the river. Meanwhile, a man wearing plain clothes reached there. He took off his shirt without thinking. He took out his mobile from his pants and gave it to the person standing there and jumped into the Hindon river. He swam and reached the young man who was about to drown. He held his hand and brought him out safely.

They asked this swimmer, “Are you not scared?” To this the man replied, “I am a Marine Commando in the Navy.” After this, people there clapped in honor of this soldier. The soldier told his name as DS Negi, resident of Indirapuram Ghaziabad and in a moment he left from there. The video of this bravery of the Marine Commando is now becoming very viral on social media.
