1. Inauguration of Hybrid Court Room
On July 19, a hybrid court room was inaugurated at Delhi’s Tis Hazari Court. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will now be used to document court proceedings and evidence.
The purpose of AI courtroom is to make the court paperless. In this, such technology has been used in which the computer listens to the spoken words and types them. Hybrid courtrooms will be built in all 691 district courts of Delhi.
Delhi High Court Acting Chief Justice Manmohan inaugurated the hybrid model at Tis Hazari Court.
2. Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories is illegal
On July 19, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) declared Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories illegal. Israel occupied the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip after defeating Arab countries in 1967.
There are 15 judges in the ICJ, out of which 11 judges ruled against Israel. The ICJ said that Israel has misused its power and snatched the rights of the Palestinians.
The ICJ has declared Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem illegal.
Discovery of sulfur on Mars
3. On July 19, the US space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced the discovery of sulfur on Mars. NASA’s Mars Curiosity Rover has discovered sulfur.
This is the first time sulfur has been found in its pure form on Mars. Sulfur crystals have been found in the rocks of Mars’ Geddes Vallis channel.
Sulfur was found when a rock broke off from the 899-kg Curiosity Rover.

1. JKSSB released notification for constable recruitment
Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of more than 4 thousand constable posts. According to the notification, the application process for this recruitment will start from 30 July 2024. Candidates will be able to apply by visiting the website jkssb.nic.in.
Educational Qualification :
10th passed.
Age Range :
- Minimum : 18 Years
- Maximum : 28 Years
- There will be relaxation in maximum age limit as per government rules.
2. Application for UKPSC Additional Personal Secretary Recruitment Exam begins
Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has invited online applications from candidates for the recruitment of Additional Personal Secretary (Additional Personal Secretary) Examination-2024.
Candidates can apply through the official website psc.uk.gov.in. At the same time, an opportunity will be given to correct the application form from 12 to 21 August 2024.
Educational Qualification :
- Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university/institution.
- Candidates should also know English typing (9000 key depressions in one hour) and Hindi (8000 key depressions in one hour).
- Hindi typing is compulsory and English typing is optional. But candidates knowing English typing will be given preference.
Age Range :
- The age of the candidates should be between 21 to 42 years.
- Relaxation in upper age limit will be given to reserved category candidates.

1. CSEET result released
ICSI has released the result of Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test i.e. CSEET. Candidates can check the result on the official website of ICSI icsi.edu You can check the result on . This exam was conducted on 6th, 7th and 8th July.
2. School wall collapsed in Vadodara, 4 children injured
Four children were injured when a wall of a room on the second floor collapsed in Shri Narayan School in Vadodara, Gujarat. CCTV footage of this incident has surfaced. In this, four children were seen falling 10 feet down along with the bench. One student suffered a head injury. Three suffered minor injuries.
This incident happened around 12:30 pm on Friday afternoon. After this the fire brigade and police were called.
Police said that there was a shed just behind the wall. The children first fell on the shed and then came down to the ground. Due to this, they did not suffer serious injuries. The reason for the wall collapse is being investigated.
On the other hand, Vadodara Parents Association has decided to protest against the school operator today on Saturday. A case can also be registered regarding the matter.
3. No topper from Godhra and Hazaribagh centres in NEET
Following the Supreme Court order, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the city and centre-wise result of the NEET UG exam on Saturday, July 20.
The result has been released on the official website nta.ac.in. The identity of the candidates has not been revealed in it. The special thing is that no candidate from the controversial Godhra and Hazaribagh centers is a topper.
2 students from Jai Jalaram School centre in Godhra have scored 600 marks. Apart from this, no other candidate has scored more than 600 marks. The chairman of this school was arrested by CBI on 30 June in the paper leak case. The exam was held at 5 exam centres in Hazaribagh. CBI has arrested Rajkumar alias Raju on 16 July.
On July 18, the Supreme Court heard the NEET controversy. The court had directed the NTA to upload the results of all the candidates on the website by 12 noon on Saturday. During this time, the NTA also admitted to the Supreme Court that there were irregularities at the exam centers in Godhra and Patna.
4. UPSC Chairman Manoj Soni resigned, he became the chairman last year
UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Chairman Manoj Soni has resigned citing personal reasons. He has said that after resigning, he will focus on social and religious work. He had sent his resignation to the Department of Personnel (DOPT) 14 days ago, information about this came to light today (July 20).
The resignation has not been accepted yet. His term was till May 2029. He was sworn in as the chairman of UPSC on 16 May 2023.
