With the Paris Olympics just around the corner, preparations for the inaugural India House are in full swing and now in their final leg at the venue in La Villette. The India House will be open from 27th July to 11th August and be a celebration of India’s athletes as well as its arts and culture. The opening ceremony of the India House will be a star-studded affair headlined by leading Bollywood singer Shaan, who has numerous chartbusters to his name.

The first-ever India House, conceptualised by Reliance Foundation in partnership with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), brings India’s rich sports and cultural legacy to the world, marking an unprecedented celebration of India.

As you approach India House, you’re greeted by an awe-inspiring entrance paying homage to the grandeur of Indian Havelis. Adorned with intricate mirror work (shisha), wood carvings, and delicate motifs, the entrance is a masterpiece. The majestic tiger and resplendent peacock symbolize India’s rich wildlife and natural beauty.
Welcoming Atmosphere
Experience the warmth of Indian hospitality with embroidered welcome banners, intricate rangoli patterns, flickering diyas, chiming bells, and floral elephants, all showcasing India’s rich cultural rituals and traditions.

Throughout India House, motifs and patterns inspired by Jharokas adorn the spaces, inviting visitors to explore intricate details that embody India’s architectural heritage. The Grand Pavilion is divided into distinct zones, each offering a unique glimpse into the heart of the nation.
