Cracks have started appearing on the floor of the neighbor’s house due to water getting filled in the pit in front of the house during rains. The affected homeowner Sudhir Tripathi and the people of the locality have submitted a letter to the city magistrate and appealed for protection of life and property. It is said that due to the jam and pit, the troubles of the people are increasing.

The pit was dug and left for many days.

The road was dug up about two months ago between Imambara and Mahant Shivala on the road connecting the city to Vindhyachal. In the name of Amrit Jal Yojana, three pits of about 15 to 20 feet deep were dug. No work has been done for several weeks. After the rains, the pits have filled up with water. Due to which the danger to the nearby houses is increasing due to soil erosion.

The water filled in the pit is weakening the foundation of the houses. The cracks in the floor of the house are indicating danger. It is very important in public interest to close the pit before any loss of life and property. The incomplete work can be completed after the rains.

Locals said that there are cracks in the floors of the houses.

3 potholes in a locality have become a problem for the local citizens. Traffic jams have become a common occurrence on the road. Due to which pedestrians and vehicle owners are facing problems.

Sanjay Kumar, in-charge of the scheme, said that efforts are being made to complete the scheme soon. Due to some reasons, the construction work is stalled. Keeping public interest in mind, prompt action is being taken.
