The regularization of irregular employees was announced by the BJP government, but till date no satisfactory action has been taken, in protest against which, the daily wage employees of the Forest Department will protest by wearing black bands from July 25 to August 3, demanding regularization and permanentization.

The Irregular Employees Union has decided that from August 4, they will surround the bungalows of the state’s Finance Minister OP Chaudhary and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and Arun Sao. After this, if the government does not take a decision in the interest of the employees, then the employees will go on an indefinite strike from August 11. The district president of the organization, Vijay Kumar Yadav, said that the daily wage employees and workers working under the Forest Department have been continuously drawing attention to the demands of regularization and permanentization for many years.
