Ranbir Kapoor was called a cheater and a Casanova after his breakup with Deepika Padukone. Years ago, Deepika had said many things about Ranbir in a subtle manner along with Sonam on Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee with Karan’. Now, Ranbir spoke about this in an interview given to Nikhil Kamath’s People by WTF podcast.

He said, ‘When I started in films, I was called a playboy because I was dating actresses. This became my identity. I was called a Casanova and the label of a cheater remained in my life for a long time and I am still considered that way. I don’t care because it was not completely true. People don’t know the whole story because I never said anything.’
Ranbir further said, ‘I never talk about anyone in public like this because these are all very private matters. But whatever things were said and if someone got happiness from it, then I have no problem with that person.’
The closeness between Ranbir and Katrina increased during the shooting of ‘Rajneeti’ and ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’.
