The kidnapping accused who escaped from the lockup of Akbarpur police station in Ambedkar Nagar two days ago has consumed poison. He has been admitted to Mahamaya Government Allopathic Medical College for treatment, where he is undergoing treatment. Security has been increased in the medical college after the incident.

The accused had escaped from the lockup two days ago
Dharmendra, a resident of Parshurampur in Ibrahimpur police station area, is accused of kidnapping a girl. Two days ago, the police brought him to Akbarpur police station for questioning, but he escaped from the lockup by dodging the police, after which a constable was suspended for laxity in the case.
After the incident, the police was continuously tracing the accused Dharmendra who had escaped from the lockup. Today the police received information from the villagers that Dharmendra had consumed poison, the police reached the spot immediately and admitted the accused to the Government Medical College for treatment, where he is undergoing treatment.
