A fire broke out in a slum in Sector 8 in Noida this morning. Three innocent girls died in the fire. The parents also got burnt. The father was taken to the district hospital in Noida. From there, he was referred to Safdarjung Hospital. According to doctors, his condition remains critical.

DCP Ram Badan Singh said that information about the fire in the room was received at around 4 am. People living nearby first informed the fire station. Two fire engines were sent to the spot. The fire was brought under control in 10 minutes. But three girls inside the room could not be saved. It was told that the family was sleeping when the fire broke out.

Girls were sleeping on the bed
The DCP said that the three girls were sleeping in the room with the family. The girls were sleeping on the bed and the parents were sleeping on the floor. The fire took a terrible form in minutes. Due to which the three children Aastha (age 10 years), Naina (age 7 years) and Aradhya (age 5 years) got burnt in the fire. All three were brought to the hospital. There the doctors declared them dead. Daulat Ram (32) was referred to Safdarjung Hospital in critical condition. Peace prevails at the spot. All the household items were burnt to ashes.

The battery was kept in the room
There was only one room in the slum. The battery was being charged there. It is suspected that a short circuit occurred during charging and it caught fire. The fire spread rapidly and within minutes it engulfed the sleeping children. After extinguishing the fire, everyone was taken to the hospital. All the belongings were burnt to ashes.
