Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of more than 4 thousand constable posts. Earlier the application process for this recruitment was to start from 30th July which has been extended to 8th August 2024. Candidates will be able to apply by visiting the website jkssb.nic.in.
Vacancy details:
- Constable (SDRF): 100 Posts
- Constable (Telecommunications): 502 posts
- Constable (Armed/IRP): 1689 Posts
- Constable (Photographer): 22 posts
- Constable Executive Police (Jammu Division): 1249 Posts
- Constable Executive Police (Kashmir Division): 440 Posts
Educational Qualification :
10th passed.
Age Range :
- Minimum : 18 Years
- Maximum : 28 Years
- There will be relaxation in maximum age limit as per government rules.
Salary :
₹ 19,900 – ₹ 63,200 per month.
Selection Process:
- Written exam
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Physical Endurance Test (PET)
- Medical Examination
- The final merit list of candidates successful in all the stages will be released.
Fees :
- ST/SC: Rs.700
- SC, ST-1, ST-2 and EWS: Rs 600
