Paris Olympics 2024 Day 6 LIVE: A busy day six for the Indian contingent on August 1 at the ongoing 2024 Paris Olympics with as many as 16 athletes are in action across archery, athletics, boxing, badminton, golf, hockey, shooting and sailing.

Swapnil Kusale will look to earn India’s thrid medal as he takes part in the finals of 50m rifle 3 positions event after finishing seventh in qualification.

Athletics action gets underway as racewalkers Akshdeep Singh, Vikas Singh and Paramjeet Bisht, along with Priyanka Goswami will look to win a medal for India.

Already through to the knockouts, the Indian men’s hockey team face Belgium in a top of the table clash of the group stage.

Shooters Sift Kaur Samra and Anjum Moudgil are in action in the Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions Qualification round.

PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen will be in action in the round of 16 of the women’s and men’s singles competition.

Both Boxer Nikhat Zareen is in action as archer Pravin Ramesh Jadhav will comtinue their campign.

Sailors Vishnu Saravanan and Nethra Kumanan will also take to the Siene as golfers Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar get their campaign underway.

There were no more medals won on Wednesday after Manu Bhaker’s historic second medal came, with Sarabjot Singh, the day prior.
