In Bhawania Pur of Rupaidiha police station area of Bahraich, a speeding bike hit a girl crossing the road. In this accident, the girl died on the spot, while the bike rider, a Nepalese youth, was seriously injured.

On Friday afternoon, Shiba, daughter of Qurban Ali, a resident of Bhawaniyapur village, was returning home from the field. Then while crossing the road, a speeding bike hit her. After the incident, a young man named Abhay Jaiswal, who was riding the bike, was also seriously injured.
The villagers immediately informed the Rupaidiha police. Sub-inspector Virendra Singh reached the spot and sent the injured youth to the local hospital through an ambulance. The body of the deceased girl was sent for post-mortem. The police station in-charge said that the process of post-mortem is going on. The matter is being investigated.
