Udaipur’s daughter-in-law Maheshwari Chauhan will play her first match today in the Paris Olympics. Maheshwari will shoot at 12:30 pm in the qualifying match of the Skeet event under Shotgun. People from Udaipur as well as her parental home Jalore and the entire Rajasthan will be there to watch Maheshwari’s match.

There will be two days of qualifying competition in shotgun and after that the finals will be held on August 5. Maheshwari is the first woman from the state to play skeet. Maheshwari’s husband Adhiraj Singh from Udaipur is with her in Paris.
Maheshwari has already won many medals at the national and international level. Maheshwari is married to Adhiraj Singh of Udaipur. Maheshwari won the silver medal in the women’s skeet event at the ISSF Final Olympic Shotgun Qualification Championship in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
Since this morning, Maheshwari’s fans from Rajasthan have been wishing him good performance and winning the medal on social media.
Born in Siyana Village
When Maheshwari Chauhan, a resident of Siyana village in Jalore district, won silver in women’s skeet shooting at the ISSF Shotgun Olympic Qualification Championship, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma congratulated the daughter of the state by tweeting. Maheshwari, like her grandfather and father, was also fond of shooting since childhood. Her grandfather Ganpat Singh and father Pradeep Singh have played at the national level.
Father built a shooting range in 18 to 20 bighas of land
Maheshwari was fond of shooting along with studies since childhood. She was preparing for it since childhood. Her father built a shooting range for his daughter on about 18 to 20 bighas of land in his own farm.
