According to the police, a private bus left for Niwari from Tahrauli at around 8 am. There were about 50 passengers in the bus. As soon as the bus reached Nota village from Hati, a school bus came from the front on a narrow culvert. Due to the high speed of the bus and the narrow culvert, the driver was unable to control the bus. The bus overturned in a ditch on the side of the road.
There was a lot of screaming among the injured passengers in the bus. People from nearby areas also gathered. Somehow the injured were taken out from inside the bus. Five people were seriously injured in the accident. According to CO Ajay Kumar Shrotiy, the injured have been admitted to the medical college.
