On August 4, Bharatnatyam dancer Yamini Krishnamurthy passed away at the age of 84. She made her Bharatnatyam debut in 1957 at the age of 17. She was awarded the Padma Shri in 1968, the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2016.

Actually, Rakshit Shivam Prakash had secured 93 rank in UPSC exam in 2014, but his BMI i.e. body mass index was 31.75, which falls in the OB category. He was called for medical test again, but he could not give the test. After this, his joining was stopped for 10 years. Now, after the order of SC, he will have to undergo medical test again, and if found fit in it, he may get an offer for service again.
