In Deoria, late Saturday night, a speeding car going from Deoria city towards Surauli hit a person near Singhi Petrol Pump. While fleeing, it hit a teenager and her aunt who were going with her aunt in Laxmipur.

The girl injured in the car accident died in the medical college. Two people were admitted to the medical college for treatment. The condition of all of them remains critical. The police chased the car in Jaddu Parsia and recovered it. The driver managed to escape. The police is investigating the case.

A car rider on the Deoria-Pakdi road towards Deoria city hit Moti Chand Prasad (45), a resident of Singhi, at the intersection near Singhi petrol pump in Surauli police station area and started fleeing. Both legs of Moti Chand were bleeding in this accident. People tried to chase the car, but the car rider started fleeing at a high speed. While fleeing, the car rider, at a distance of one kilometre, hit Chulbuli (12), daughter of Ram Bhagat, a resident of Vishnupur village and her aunt Nidhu Yadav (25), who were living at their maternal grandmother’s house in Laxmipur, on the roadside in Laxmipur and escaped.
Chulbuli and her aunt were seriously injured in the accident. People chased the fleeing four-wheeler and informed the police of Surauli police station. As soon as the information was received, the police chased the four-wheeler.
Seeing the police chasing him, the car driver parked the car in Jaddu Parsiya and fled. The police took the car into custody and brought it to the police station. The deceased girl’s mother Sarita, sister Madhuri and younger brother Aditya were inconsolable. The girl had been living in her maternal grandmother’s house for many years.
