At the main gate of the power plant of Hindalco Renusagar Power Division Renusagar in Sonbhadra, the divine marble idol of “Adi Dev Shilpi Bhagwan Vishwakarma” was duly worshipped with Vedic chanting and the ringing of bells. A large number of people were present on the occasion.

Unit Head of Hindalco Renusagar Power Division RP Singh was present with his wife in the Pujan program. Along with him, President of Dishita Mahila Mandal Renusagar Indu Singh performed the ritualistic Puja, Havan and Aarti of Lord Vishwakarma. Explaining the importance of the Puja, Panditji said that in Hinduism, Lord Vishwakarma is considered the God of construction and creation. He is the God of labour and work, hence he has special importance in the industrial sector.
During the puja, various departments of Renusagar Power Division such as Boiler Maintenance, Turbine Maintenance, Operations, Civil Department, Aerial Ropeway and CHP Canteen also celebrated the worship of Lord Vishwakarma with enthusiasm. Prayers were offered for the safety, prosperity of all employees and workers and progressive progress of the institute. After the puja, prasad was distributed to all the devotees present. On this occasion, heads of all departments including Manish Jain, Sanjay Mali, Kavita Mali, Deepak Pandey and recognized officials of labor organizations were also present.
