A fire broke out in a closed flat of a music teacher in Lucknow’s Wazirganj area on Thursday. The owner of the flat had gone out for work. Seeing smoke coming out of the flat, people living nearby informed the fire brigade. The fire team that reached the spot controlled the fire after 1 hour of effort.

Let us tell you, Mridula Chatterjee, a resident of SA Apartment, Golaganj Wazirganj, is a music teacher in Dubai. She came to Lucknow 15 days ago. On Thursday night at around 9 o’clock, a fire broke out in her flat due to a short circuit. People living nearby saw smoke coming out and informed the fire brigade. Four fire engines that reached the spot controlled the fire within 1 hour. The FSO said that one room was completely burnt. The fire was controlled before it spread.
The flat was closed at the time of the incident
It is a 5-storey building. The flat in which the fire broke out is on the fourth floor. People came out of their houses seeing smoke rising. The fire took a monstrous form in no time. In such a situation, people trapped on the 5th floor ran to the roof. People from the lower floors ran down. However, the fire team reached the spot and evacuated everyone safely. There is no report of any casualty.
