In Lucknow, cyber fraudsters duped a woman by telling her that her husband had met with an accident. The fraudsters called from an unknown number and said that her husband had met with an accident and she had to deposit Rs. 75,000 for his treatment. The frightened woman transferred the money. After this, a call was made to her husband’s number.

According to the information, Pushpa Pal, a resident of Amrapali Bihar Rajnikhand in Ashiana, said that her husband had gone to work on Wednesday. At around 4:44 pm, she received a call from an unknown number. The caller said that your husband has met with an accident. Your name is Pushpa Pal.
Money was demanded in the name of depositing money in the hospital
After this, she asked to send money saying that her husband was undergoing treatment in the hospital. On hearing that her husband was injured in an accident, Pushpa panicked and out of fear, she transferred Rs. 75,000 online in two installments from the given number.
After sending the money, she called her husband’s number. Then her husband picked up the call and said that he was safe. After this, she gave all the information about the incident to her husband. Then she came to know that she had been cheated. After complaining on 1930, Pushpa has filed a case in Ashiana police station. Police is investigating the matter.
