Due to the by-elections, BJP is campaigning vigorously in the program of Deputy CM Maurya. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has entrusted the responsibility of winning Karhal to three ministers, including Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak. Keshav Prasad Maurya tried to listen to the problems of the people in the Chaupal organized on 26 September, but when some people came to express their problems, he was stopped by the police.

These complainants alleged that they had gone to the Chief Minister and officials several times, but their problems were not being resolved. Police arrested these complainants and imposed sections for breach of peace on them. Those arrested include Rampravesh, Rajesh and Radheshyam.

SP’s opposition:

Samajwadi Party has reacted strongly to this action. It was tweeted from an SP also said that those who are not listening to the problems of the people, they will be ousted from power.

The police, while presenting their stand in this matter, said that the arrested people wanted to disturb the peace and order, due to which action was taken. But this incident has further heated up the political atmosphere.
