This incident took place in Kotwali Utraula area of ​​Balrampur police station. Where 28 year old Suresh son Kamlesh, working as an outsourcing sanitation worker in Utraula Municipality, died due to electrocution. According to the local people, at around 2:30 pm on Saturday, Suresh was lifting the shutter of the night shelter run by the municipality near the bus station.

Then due to the current flowing in the shutter, it got stuck. Other personnel present there freed him from the plastic chair, but his condition was critical. He was immediately taken to the community health centre. Where the doctors declared him dead.

The body was taken into custody and sent for postmortem.

As soon as information about the incident was received, there was chaos in Suresh’s family. Suresh’s father Kamlesh is also a sanitation worker in the municipality. Suresh was appointed as an outsourcing sanitation worker about 3 years ago. He got married only about 2 years ago. The family consists of wife, parents and three brothers.

Police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. City Kotwali Utraula in-charge said that the police is investigating the matter. If any complaint is received from the family, action will be taken on that basis also.
