The police team along with DCP Gomti and ADCP Women Security from the Police Line complex patrolled the major roads of the city. The women officers who came out in force on the road assured the girls of their safety. Talked to the girls at various places and got to know the atmosphere of the city.
Officers interrogated suspects standing at sensitive spots and warned some youths. While reprimanding the drivers of haphazardly parked vehicles in Pandepur area, he also gave advice to the auto drivers carrying female passengers.

Under the leadership of DCP Gomti Pramod Kumar, the police flag march returned from the traffic police line via Kachari, Ardali Bazaar, Mahavir Mandir, Pandeypur. One male sub-inspector and one female sub-inspector from 29 police stations were included.
DCP said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started the fifth phase of ‘Mission Shakti’ in Navratri, under this Mission Shakti campaign many new schemes have been launched for women safety in UP. Work will be done targeting women’s barracks in every police station and separate arrangements for women at the workplace.
According to ADCP Mamta Rani Chaudhary, other departments including police will also be a part of Mission Shakti which will work for the safety and empowerment of women. Women empowerment rallies will be taken out with the launch of ‘Mission Shakti’, the flagship campaign for women safety.
During this, Mission Shakti Nodal Officer DCP Gomti Zone Pramod Kumar, ADCP Women Crime Mamta Rani Choudhary, ADCP Crime and Headquarters Shruti Srivastava, ACP Cantt Vidush Saxena, Assistant Police Commissioners under training Shubham Kumar Singh and Vijay Pratap Singh, Inspector Cantt Rajkumar and others from the district. Special arrangements for women in public places
Under the fifth phase of Mission Shakti, many important steps related to women’s safety will be taken. A target has been set to ensure provision of women’s barracks in every police station. A target has also been set to establish pink booth and pink scooter in the commissionerate. Retiring rooms will be constructed for women. Apart from this, Working Women Hostels will be constructed at places like Police Line, PAC Corps Complex, Medical College etc.
Keeping in view the safety of women, rest places will be arranged for women working at places like construction sites, factories etc. There are preparations to arrange pink toilets at some places.
