Samantha Ruth Prabhu prayed at Linga Bhairavi temple, thanking Goddess Devi amid Konda Surekha’s controversial comments on her divorce with Naga Chaitanya.
Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding politician Konda Surekha’s comments on her divorce with Naga Chaitanya, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has found solace at Isha Foundation’s Linga Bhairavi temple in Coimbatore. The actor, who has been at the centre of a media storm, shared pictures of herself praying at the temple on her Instagram, expressing her gratitude to Goddess Devi.
In the post, Samantha can be seen in deep prayer, draped in a red shawl. She captioned her heartfelt post, “I took your word for it. Thank you, Devi! Happy Navaratri to all of you. ❤️” The timing of her visit, coinciding with the auspicious festival of Navratri, struck a chord with her followers.
Samantha’s fans were quick to flood her post with supportive messages. One commented, “She broke you to bring you closer to her and yourself ❤️ She is always there .” Another user praised the actor for promoting Indian culture, writing, “South celebrities promote our culture .” Another fan said, “They can’t break a woman who gets her strength from Linga Bhairavi ❤️ Blessed Navaratri dearest Sam .”
The actor’s visit comes just a day after she responded to Konda Surekha’s controversial remarks. Surekha claimed that Samantha’s divorce from Naga Chaitanya was linked to political conspiracies involving Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao. In response, Samantha issued a firm statement, clarifying that her divorce was a mutual, amicable decision, with no political involvement.
“I implore you to be responsible and respectful of individuals’ privacy. My divorce is a personal matter, and I request that you refrain from speculating about it. Our choice to keep things private doesn’t invite misrepresentation. To clarify: my divorce was by mutual consent and amicable, with no political conspiracy involved,” she stated.
Samantha is currently gearing up for her upcoming series, Citadel: Honey-Bunny, co-starring Varun Dhawan. The action-thriller, a prequel to Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s Citadel, will premiere on Amazon Prime on November 7.
