The container hit the bike from behind on National Highway-19 in Palwal, Haryana. The brother-in-law riding the bike died in the accident, while his brother-in-law was injured. On the complaint of the injured, the police registered a case against the driver of the container and handed over the body to his family after post-mortem.

According to Mundkati police station in-charge Sunderpal, Bhojraj, a resident of Shekhsai village of district Mathura (UP), has said in the complaint that he and his brother-in-law Devi Lal, a resident of Kotvan village of UP, had gone to Palwal for some work on a bike. Both of them were returning back to their village by bike after completing their work. But when his bike reached near Aurangabad village on National Highway-19, a container driver coming at a high speed from behind hit his bike from behind.
He told that due to the collision, he (Bhojraj) fell away and suffered minor injuries, while his brother-in-law Devi Lal, who was riding the bike, was seriously injured. After the accident, a crowd of people gathered there and the container driver fled from the spot with the container. He took his brother-in-law Devi Lal to Civil Hospital Palwal for treatment. There the doctors declared Devi Lal dead.
Police have registered a case and started searching for the driver of the container on the basis of its number.
