Demand to run bulldozer on accused’s house

They blocked the road at Gandhi Chowk for hours and started demanding bulldozer operation on the house of the Muslim youth who made indecent remarks. The people of the Hindu side agreed to the CO’s assurance after protesting for two hours, demanding action against the accused youth and getting the bulldozer started within 24 hours. Seeing the tense situation, heavy police force was deployed on the spot. The police have taken the father of the accused youth into custody and are taking further action.

Uproar over inappropriate comment

According to the information, after the successful completion of the fair in Dudhahi, late on Monday evening, a youth of a particular community, resident of Ward No. 8 Khakhar Tola of Nagar Panchayat Dudhahi, made an indecent comment against Hindu faith on social media.

The accused absconded from home

After getting the information, hundreds of people from other communities took to the streets and started demanding action against the accused youth. Seeing the matter escalating, the accused youth left the house and ran away. As soon as the information was received, SHO Ramshay Chauhan reached the spot with the police team and pacified the matter by convincing the people.

Amidst the fear of chaos, the police reached the spot and took charge.

Accused’s father in police custody

The police have taken the father of the accused youth into custody. The accused was soon arrested and people were pacified by assuring them of legal action against him. CO Tamkuhi Jitendra Kalra reached Vishunpura police station late in the evening and gave information about the case and said that the case has been registered. Also informed that there is no problem of law and order.
