DM Rahul Pandey inspected Bangla Joint District Hospital in Hathras today. During this, he interacted with the patients admitted in the hospital and instructed the health department officials to provide better health services.

The DM inspected the emergency room, CT scan room, prescription counter, paediatrics department, ENT room, NPPCD room, medicine distribution room, dengue ward and NRC room. Taking information about the small size of the emergency room, he told the CMO that the proposal for the construction of the emergency room has been sent to the headquarters.
While inspecting the medicine storage room, the DM checked the medicine distribution register and the expiry date of the available medicines. He said that medicines should be made available to the patients coming to the hospital from the district hospital itself and outside medicines should not be prescribed. The DM also inspected the dengue ward and general ward, where he took information from the admitted patients about their health facilities.

Instructions to stay in uniform Doctors and dieticians were also present during the inspection of the Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre. He told that two rooms of 5 beds each are operated in the center and one room is of play room. At present a child is admitted, whose health is improving. While inspecting the OPD room, labor room, delivery room and SNCU room in the women’s hospital, the DM expressed the need for all the hospital employees to remain in their uniform and wear name badges. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manjeet Singh, CMS Dr. Surya Prakash etc. were present during the inspection.
