In Jalaun, late on Wednesday night in Dahgua village of Jalaun Kotwali area, a young man tried to murder his minor niece Nisha by strangulating her. At the time of the incident, the girl raised an alarm, hearing which the people of the house gathered. Uncle Firoz absconded from the spot when his family members arrived.

Seeing the serious condition of the girl, the family members immediately admitted her to Orai Government Medical College. Seeing his critical condition, the doctors referred him to the medical college, where his treatment is continuing. The girl’s father Habib Khan said that Firoz tried to kill his daughter, due to which her condition became critical.
After the police received information about the matter, Jalaun in-charge Inspector Birendra Patel said that the matter is being investigated. Officials say that considering the seriousness of this incident, necessary action will be taken and it will be clarified under what circumstances the girl was attacked.
