The accused is a resident of Shahpur under Paraspur police station area. On his WhatsApp status, he had tried to spread violence regarding the murder of Ram Gopal Mishra by shooting in Bahraich violence. An inflammatory post regarding taking down the flag was made on social media. Due to which the police has taken action.
Inciting comment as WhatsApp status
When people included in the WhatsApp contact list of accused Jamal Ahmed saw the inflammatory post, they took a screenshot of it and tagged Gonda Police on their social media handle X, demanding action in the entire matter.
Gonda SP Vineet Jaiswal immediately took cognizance of the post and gave strict instructions to the police of Paraspur police station to investigate and take action. The arrested accused Jamal Ahmed will be presented in the court today.
SP said – those who make inflammatory remarks will go to jail
Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal said that if anyone tries to spoil the atmosphere in Gonda regarding the Bahraich incident, then strict action will be taken against him also. An attempt was made to spoil the atmosphere by posting an inflammatory comment on a WhatsApp status. The police have immediately registered a case and taken the accused into custody and are interrogating him.
