In view of the Diwali festival in Rae Bareli, Food Department officials raided a sweets manufacturing factory. During this time the factory was sealed and the sweets and chhena made there were destroyed.

This case pertains to Bablu Chhena factory in Aghaura village of Bachhrawan police station. Where sweets were being made for many years. The Food Department had received information about adulteration in sweets. After which they conducted a raid. During the raid, the team of Food Logistics Department seized and destroyed many quintals of sweets. It is being told that synthetic powder and harmful chemicals were mixed in them.
The District Food Officer said that Chief Food Safety Officer Anjani Kumar and other employees were also present at the time of the raid. Keeping in mind the festival of Diwali, the Food Department is taking such action in the entire district.
