According to religious scriptures, Pradosh period is very important in the worship of Diwali. The period of conjunction of day and night is called Pradosh Kaal, where the day is in the form of Vishnu and the night is in the form of Goddess Lakshmi, the period of conjunction of both is called Pradosh Kaal.

Pradosh period is important for householders According to the scriptures, Pradosh period is important for household and business activities and Mahanishith period is suitable for tantric works and activities. Every year Amavasya Vyappini is important for Tantra Sadhana during Mahanishith period. Mahanishith Kaal i.e. Mahanisha Kaal is fixed lagna Leo at midnight between 12:39 to 2:50 am. The auspicious Choghadiya for Nisha Puja, Kali Puja, Tantrik Puja is from 10:24 pm to 1:30 am in the midnight which is a very important, very auspicious and auspicious time. Similarly, it is the best method to worship Diwali along with Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha and Kuber etc. during the Pradosh period and lighting the lamp during the Pradosh period itself gives best results. Pradosh Kaal from 06:12 to 08:00 pm including stable ascendant. There will be auspicious Choghadiya named Amrit and Char from 5:23 pm to 9 pm. Amavasya Tithi i.e. Fixed Ascendant in Diwali: – (1) On Thursday, 31st October, Fixed Ascendant Taurus will be in the night from 06:11 to 8:00. Which is very best and is full of Pradosh Kaal. Also, there is auspicious Choghadiya from 5:22 pm to 8 pm, hence the best time to light the lamp. (2) On Thursday, 31st October, fixed ascendant Leo will be after midnight from 12:40 to 2:50 am and with auspicious Choghadiya from 12:30 to 1:30 am. (3) Due to the presence of fixed ascendant Scorpio on Friday, 1st November, from 7:30 am to 9:30 am, Goddess Lakshmi can be worshiped at this time. Since the auspicious Choghadiya is also available from sunrise to 9:30, worshiping at this time will be auspicious. (4) Fixed Lagna Kumbh on 1st November, Friday, can be worshiped for business establishments between 1:35 pm to 3:00 pm, but auspicious Choghadiya is not available at this time.
