Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid an emotional tribute to the martyrs by lighting a lamp in their memory. He lit the first lamp and paid floral tributes to the portraits of the martyrs in the ‘Ek Diya in the Name of Martyrs’ program organized at Bhim Sarovar in the Gorakhnath Temple complex late Friday evening.

As soon as the Chief Minister inaugurated the program, Bhim Sarovar was illuminated with the glow of 11000 lamps. In the ‘Ek Diya in the Name of Martyrs’ program organized by Bhojpuri Association of India (Bhai), the lighting of lamps lit around Bhim Sarovar looked supernatural.
CM became emotional on patriotic songs During the program, patriotic songs and dance presentations in front of the Chief Minister infused enthusiasm. CM Yogi looked very emotional on the presentations like Desh Mera Rangeela, Jai Ho, Chak De India, Sandesh Aate Hai, Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon etc.
Program coordinator folk singer Rakesh Srivastava’s presentation (Blessed is my Uttar Pradesh) made one aware of the uniqueness of the state and the present fear-free environment. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath applauded the performances of all the artists by clapping.
