Politics has heated up over the statement given by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya regarding PDACO. Former minister Ambika Chaudhary, who had come to support the Revathi rail movement in Ballia, has sharply retaliated on Maurya’s statement. Chaudhary in conversation with Dainik Bhaskar

Chaudhary made a direct attack and said, “Whether you take the name of the Deputy Chief Minister or the Chief Minister, he has nothing left to give to the public. This government has failed on every front – in providing employment, in alleviating the plight of farmers, in law and order and in health services.” He said that there is a shortage of medicines in hospitals and there are only promises in the name of treatment, whereas the government has proved to be a complete failure on these issues.
The real face hidden behind the frenzied rhetoric: Chaudhary said that religious frenzy is being promoted to hide the failure of the government. “When questions are not answered, the government diverts attention by making similar statements,” he said. Expressing confidence in Samajwadi Party’s prospects regarding the by-elections, Choudhary said that SP will win nine seats.
