‘We do not have any baby of our own, it has been 10 years since our marriage. This dog is our family. Even when we went to Europe, Doggie was with us. Never separated from myself. This has happened for the first time.

Saying this, Dipayan becomes a little emotional. Say- We are 200 KM away from our home for 7 days. 5 thousand posters have been installed in the entire city. Police support was also received. Till now around 200 CCTVs have been viewed, but nothing has been found. Dainik Bhaskar had a special conversation with Deepayan…
Dipayan of Gurugram said- We are getting a lot of support from the people of Agra.
We get calls even at midnight While talking to us, Dipayan also shared an incident of fake call. Said- One day we were sleeping. At around 12.30 in the night, a call came that we have seen your female dog in Chamrauli. As soon as the call came, my wife Kasturi and I searched the spot on Google Map and reached about 8 KM away. Kept searching for the dog till around 2 o’clock in the night, but could not find anything. Returned to hotel at 3 in the morning.
At 6.10 in the morning a call came again that your female dog had been seen in Basai colony. Searched on Google. The spot mentioned was just 2 KM away. Both of us reached there, but showed the dog, it was not ours. Dipayan and Kasturi have been following a similar routine for the last 7 days.
This is Deepayan searching for the dog with a torch at night. He is always worried about his dog.
We asked – Why is there so much attachment to the dog? Where did you get these? Dipayan said- I have a job in Air India. My wife Kasturi does business. We got married 10 years ago. These dogs are our family. They cannot speak, but we all understand. One of our girls is lost somewhere. We will not leave Agra city until we find it.
Let us tell you, Dipayan and Kasturi had come to visit Agra on 1 November. On November 3, one of his dogs got lost from the 5 star hotel where he stayed.
These pictures are of Woof and Gray Hound. Both the dogs were found by the family on the footpath of Delhi.
Both brothers and sisters met 9 years ago How did you get this dog? On this question, Kasturi says – About 9 and a half years ago, one day in Basant Kunj (New Delhi), we saw a 2 month old puppy. He was injured after being hit by a vehicle. We brought him home. Applied medicine on the injury. Started taking care of him.
After a few days, we realized that like that puppy, another puppy kept hovering around our house. One day we allowed him to come into the compound of our house. Then I realized that these two were brother and sister. We have had both of these since then.
Both these dogs had a disease called Parvo, for which we got treated. The male dog was named Woof and the female dog was named Gray Hound. This became our family.
We asked do you have any other stomachs? He told that he has also adopted two cats from Kolkata. Their names are Brownie and Dobby. Both cats are around 12 years old. We asked – Is there any problem in feeding so many stomachs at once? He said – No, when we went on a trip to Europe, we took our four children along with us to Luxembourg.
People of Agra see the poster and call Dipayan, telling him the location of the dog.
Father and mother took care of us, now we also take care of them. Dipayan said- There have been animals in our family since the beginning. Papa had pigeons, rabbits, fish and different types of birds. Mother had kept a dog. Since then my love for animals grew. We don’t just take care of indoor animals. The dogs that live nearby even outside the house. We give them food and drink.
The wolf does not make friends, the gray hound gets along quickly Kasturi said- The behavior of wolf and gray hound is completely different. Woof does not like unknown people, he becomes uncomfortable. He only wants both of us. He likes chicken very much to eat. Greyhounds quickly become attached to people. She makes friends quickly. He likes bread and biscuits to eat.
Dipayan and Kasturi had initially kept a reward of Rs 10,000 for finding and bringing back the dog, later it was increased to Rs 50,000.
Getting a lot of support from the people of Agra Dipayan said- People of Agra are getting a lot of support. People are worried about our daughter. Even at night we get calls that our daughter has been seen. We have pasted about 5 thousand posters on the streets of Agra. Earlier the reward was Rs 10 thousand, now it has been increased to Rs 50 thousand.
But people should not chase our daughter for this money, she will get scared. If you see it, just call us. If you give her biscuits or bread, she will remain sitting there.
Dipayan said- 40-50 calls are received every day. People tell different locations. We reach there. Most calls come from Fatehabad Road. Have seen more than 200 CCTVs. She was last seen near Taj Metro station on 3 November. Haven’t been seen since then. However, people are claiming that they have seen gray hound roaming in the area around Fatehabad Road. Dipayan and Kasturi also went to the control center of the smart city and checked the CCTV.
Woof remains restless after the gray hound disappears.
Police gave sniffer dogs After filing a complaint with the police, sniffer dogs were found twice by the police. Once the sniffer dog was taken to Shahjahan Garden and the second time towards Fatehabad Road. A day before, he had also gone to Shahjahan Garden with Woof, in the hope that the gray hound would come smelling his scent.
Woof has stopped eating and drinking Dipayan’s male dog Woof has stopped eating and drinking since the greyhound left. All day long his eyes keep searching for the greyhound. Remains restless. Not even eating his favorite chicken. His cats are in his Delhi house, which are being looked after by his friend and his house help sister.
