Committee Chairman appealed to the Superintendent of Police for justice
Committee President Manoj Kumar Singh said that during the incident, some people including Prashant, Saurabh, Alok Pathak, Monu Shukla and Nirbhay entered the line and started fighting with other farmers, showing dominance. When he tried to stop the accused, he was also beaten up, due to which he suffered serious injuries. During this time, some policemen were also present on the spot, but they did not intervene.
Superintendent of Police assured action
The committee chairman says that a video of the incident was also made by the villagers. Despite the complaint given in the police station, the report has not been registered yet. After this, the victim Manoj Kumar Singh met Superintendent of Police Neeraj Kumar Jadaun and demanded justice. The SP has assured the victim that appropriate action will be taken in the matter soon.
There is anger among the villagers regarding this incident and the inaction of the police. They are hoping that the committee chairman gets justice and that peace and discipline be maintained in the fertilizer distribution process.
