District Magistrate Dr. VK Singh and Superintendent of Police Alok Priyadarshi inspected the preparations for the fair to be organized on the occasion of Kartik Purnima at Dhai Ghat of Shamshabad police station area. During the inspection, destitute animals were found roaming on the ghat, on which the District Magistrate issued instructions.

During the inspection, the District Magistrate directed to display the list of names and numbers of divers, sailors and their boats deployed on both the banks of Ganga. He spoke to the Sub-Collector to ensure adequate drinking water, mobile toilets and changing rooms for the convenience of the devotees taking bath in the fair. Seeing the inadequate lighting system, the DM expressed displeasure and directed to improve it immediately.
Instructions given to food department DM directed the food department to check the quality of food items. Along with this, instructions were also given to arrange shops in the fair in an organized manner, keep the roads clean and clear, arrange medical camps and ambulances and make complete arrangements for fire fighting at all the ghats. During this inspection, SDM Kayamganj, CO Kayamganj, Executive Engineer Irrigation, Additional Chief Officer District Panchayat, EO Municipality Kayamganj, DPRO, and other concerned officers were also present.
