Before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy starting from November 22, the war of words continues between Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir and former Australian captain Ricky Ponting. Now Ponting has been called ‘hot-tempered’. Not only this, they laughed off Gambhir’s statement.

He also clarified his statement and said- I was not sarcasm. Here Ponting clarified his old statement on Kohli. He said- ‘This was not a sarcasm on him (Kohli) in any way. I actually remember him saying that he has done well in Australia and he would be excited to come back here…If you ask Virat, I am sure he will be a little worried that he will not be able to score centuries like in previous years. Couldn’t make it.
Ponting had said on the recent statement – ‘Kohli’s form is a matter of concern, because in the last 5 years this Indian batsman has been able to score only two centuries in Test cricket. He also said that this star batsman is capable of making a comeback and there can be no better place than Australia for this.
Gambhir had said- What does Ponting have to do with Indian cricket? Gambhir had said before the Indian team left for Australia tour – ‘What does Ponting have to do with Indian cricket?
