During the special brief revision of electoral rolls in Deoria, District Magistrate Divya Mittal took major action and issued strict instructions to withhold two days’ salary of 25 BLOs who were found absent on the special campaign dates of 9th and 10th November. jill

The District Magistrate directed that the salaries of these BLOs who remained absent without prior notice should be stopped immediately and this action should be immediately informed to the concerned authorities. Also, the absent BLOs have been ordered to submit the explanation of their absence within three days through the District School Inspector, District Basic Education Officer and District Program Officer.

Strict action will be taken against negligence

District Magistrate Divya Mittal has clarified that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in an important task like elections. If a satisfactory explanation is not received within three days, the concerned officers have also been ordered to initiate disciplinary proceedings. He warned that in future too, strict action will be taken against those personnel who indulge in such negligence.

These BLOs were held responsible

The list of BLOs found absent on the dates of the special campaign includes Dinanath Maurya, Pushpa Verma, Kiran Devi, Rupesh Kumar, Chinta Mani, Shawna Parveen, Neeta Mishra, Santosh Gupta, Monica Tiwari, Rabia Ansari, Anjum Ara, Savitri Devi, Nidhi, The names of Mamta Pandey, Saroj Singh, Triyambada, Saroj Kushwaha, Tara Devi, Ajay Kumar, Nebulal Prasad, Awadhesh Prasad, Anil Kumar Maurya, Pradeep Ranjan Mishra, Reena Yadav, and Satish Tiwari are included.
