Amitabh Bachchan admitted that he would not do his homework and spent most of the time chatting and gossiping during school days.
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 saw a delightful moment as host Amitabh Bachchan shared a funny anecdote from his childhood. The episode began with Hetvi Vasudev Patel successfully taking home Rs 12,50,000. His exit is followed by Ashi Singh taking the hot seat, ready to kick off the question-answer session with Bachchan and indulge in a candid conversation with the Bollywood veteran. As the duo involved in a light-hearted banter, the superstar also shared some precious moments from his mischievous childhood.
The fun-filled interaction began with Ashi Singh sharing that she enjoys chatting and gossiping. She also claimed to have inherited the quality from her mother. Her candid revelation prompted a reaction from Big B who started pulling her leg saying, “Ab aapke sare friends ko pata chal jayega ki aapko gossip karna bahut pasand hai (Now all your friends will know you love to gossip).” The contestant then went on to share that her father loves dancing to the superstar’s songs. Later, Ashi’s father who joined her to encourage her during the game, requested the actor to recite his iconic dialogue, “Don ko pakadna mushkil he nahi namumkin hai…” The actor happily obliged his request.
As the intriguing banter continued, Ashi also highlighted her achievements during her school days, revealing that she secured many medals and Awards in the International School General Knowledge Olympiads. Big B then asked the contestant which bench she used to sit on, in her school days. In response, she claimed to be a first bencher.
Then came the most interesting revelation by Amitabh Bachchan. The actor admitted to being a backbencher who would not do his homework and spent most of the time chatting and gossiping. The actor continued to share that he would eat biscuits between the classes instead of waiting for recess. Big B said, “Humare liye mind and body control karna zaruri nahi tha hum wahi se kuch sandwich yaa biscuit nikal ke khaa lete the chup chaap..Kitaab ko muh ke saamne rakhte the aisa lagta tha padh rahe hain par hum khaate the (We didn’t control our mind and body and used to eat sandwiches or biscuits silently. We would keep the book in front of our mouth, it seemed as if we were reading but we were eating).”
At the end of the game, Ashi took home Rs 25,00,000 and Big B continued with another Fastest Finger First round. Parth Upadhyay, winning the round, made it to the hot seat.
