According to the information, Suman Rajbhar (45), resident of Baba’s Dera of Sahatwar police station area and Mamta Devi (35), resident of Hathonj, were going with other women to catch the train for bathing in the Ganga. Laxman Rajbhar, husband of deceased Suman, told that the women were walking towards Sahatwar railway station and as soon as they reached near the station, the train arrived.
