Two youths died in a road accident near Bahai Chowki on Lalganj-Dalmau road in Rae Bareli. A young man was seriously injured. Sumit Lodhi, resident of village Pendepur of Harchandpur police station area, along with his two friends Anant and Sushil Pasi, rode on a bike.

There were many trucks parked on the roadside near the Bahai post. Due to which the youth riding the bike collided with a truck parked on the roadside and met with an accident. In this accident, the bike rider Last and Sushil died on the spot. While Sumit Lodhi was seriously injured. He was immediately admitted to the hospital. Where his condition remains critical.
Accident occurred due to irregular parking of trucks
Inspector in-charge Sanjay Kumar Singh said that the police have taken the bodies of both the youth in their custody and sent them for postmortem. Further legal action is underway.
The incident occurred due to irregular parking of trucks near Bahai Chowki. Due to which concerns are being raised regarding security and traffic there. Villagers and administration officials have demanded that appropriate steps be taken for parking arrangements and road safety in this area. So that such accidents can be prevented.
