There was a stir in Gorakhpur on Friday when two dead bodies were found in different areas. The dead body of a vegetable vendor was found on the roadside. Whereas, the woman’s body was found on the banks of Rapti river. The family members of the vegetable seller have expressed suspicion of murder. Meanwhile, the woman has not been identified yet

Decomposed body of a woman found on the banks of Rapti The first incident took place near Ghisdi village of Gagaha area, where the body of a 26-year-old unidentified woman was found on the banks of Rapti river. The dead body appears to be about ten days old and is becoming difficult to identify due to extreme decomposition. Local people informed the police after seeing the dead body.

The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The woman has not been identified yet, and there is doubt over the reasons behind the incident.

Dead body of vegetable seller Deendayal found on the roadside The second incident took place at Tilaura Chandrao Marg in Sahjanwa area, where the body of 60-year-old vegetable seller Deendayal was found on the roadside. He had deep injuries on his head, but no other injury marks were found on the bicycle and body. This incident happened on Thursday night, when a person from the village saw Deendayal fallen on the roadside and informed his family.

Family members accused of murder Deendayal’s family is considering it as murder instead of a road accident. He says injuries on the head indicate an attack, while the bicycle is safe and there are no other injuries on the body. Deendayal’s three sons, who work as laborers in Delhi and Mumbai, left for home as soon as they got information about the incident.

Police are currently considering it as a case of road accident and are waiting for the post mortem report. SO Vishal Upadhyay said that till now no complaint has been given by the family members.
